Laura qualified with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) degree from the University of Ireland, Galway, with a keen interest in paediatrics. Laura worked within a community children’s disability team in the west of Ireland, supporting children and their families at home, in school and in clinic, before relocating to Melbourne for a new adventure. Laura is experienced working with children with autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, cerebral palsy and complex postural management. Laura has a particular interest in paediatric neurology and loves upskilling in this area. Laura takes pride in providing a neuro-affirmative, family-centred, and strengths-based approach which is child-led and based on their interests. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with friends and family, keeping active, reading, and exploring what Melbourne has to offer.
