Lauren completed her degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of the Western Cape, in South Africa. After obtaining her degree, she gained experience in different areas including educational and private paediatric settings and from there opened her own private practice in Cape Town, until she moved to Melbourne. Lauren has always had a passion for working with children and their families and believes in a client-centred and holistic approach to support their independence in meaningful occupations. Lauren believes that the key to working with children should be fun and she uses her creativity in therapy sessions to support their motivation and potential. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and friends, video calls with family/friends back home, camping and exploring what Melbourne has to offer especially the food and outdoors.
