Carmen Ng

Carmen is a graduate in Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice at La Trobe University. She has experience in paediatric and adults, currently focusing on paediatric. Carmen enjoys utilising a holistic approach in therapy looking at the client’s person, environment and occupation and how they interact to facilitate participation. She is passionate in empowering clients in enabling positive change and achieving their goals. She ensures that her practice is client-centred focused and engaging which can include goal setting, liaising with families and supports and identifying what each client values. Moreover, she uses a collaborative approach in therapy which involves working together with the client’s formal and informal supports and multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency in strategies. Things Carmen likes to do outside of work is spending time with her friends and family, listening to music and being physically active to maintain a healthy and balanced life.
