Dermot is an enthusiastic occupational therapist who proudly comes from Co. Cork in Ireland. He has attained a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and Master of Social Policy specialising in the areas of Mental Health and Disability from University College Cork. Dermot has worked across various settings and services in Ireland including the areas of equipment provision, residential care and care of the elderly, inpatient general medicine and adult community mental health services. He has recently moved to Melbourne and has been enjoying the variety of opportunities and experiences available. Dermot enjoys working with people, building strong therapeutic relationships and using client-centred approaches to provide support where needed. His interests include sport, music, the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
