Sinead is from Galway, Ireland. She graduated from The National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) with a bachelors in Speech and Language Therapy and went on to do a Masters in Speech Language Therapy with a dysphagia strand in Trinity College Dublin. She has worked with the paediatric population for 4 years and the adult population for 2 years. She has assisted children in the areas of global delays, autism, ADHD, stuttering, and speech and language disorders. She has assisted adults with acquired difficulties including dysarthria, dysphagia, voice and language disorders associated with conditions such as brain injury, parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and cancer. Sinead has particular interests in the areas of voice disorders, selective mutism, severe speech disorders and AAC but is open to working with all clientele. My approach is client-interest led with the aim of assisting with functioning towards improved daily living. Sinead also advocates for supporting carers with assisting their loved ones with their speech pathology goals. Outside of work Sinead loves gymming, walks along the beach, exploring new cuisines and coffee shops in Melbourne and catching up with friends and family.
