Caoimhe is a Speech and Language Pathologist, who graduated from University College Cork in Ireland. After completing a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Language Therapy, she received a scholarship from the Irish Research Council to complete a Master of Science in the use of Key Word Sign at School.
Caoimhe has worked primarily with a paediatric caseload, and has a special interest in early language development, speech sound disorders, and stuttering. She is passionate about empowering parents and caregivers to support their children’s communication in the environments that are most important to them.
Caoimhe believes that a collaborative approach to goal setting and therapy is an important foundation in achieving the best outcomes for families. Outside of work, you can find her exploring as many of Melbourne’s cafes and restaurants as possible, spending time with friends, and relaxing with a cup of tea.
