Aarushi graduated in New Zealand from Massey University with a Bachelor of Speech and Language Therapy. She has completed training courses in Makaton, Lidcombe, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and early intervention using the Routines-Based Model. Aarushi has worked across a range of settings, including kindergartens, primary schools, clinics, and community work in both the public and private sector. Aarushi’s main areas of interest are Autism Spectrum Disorder, early intervention in natural learning environments, Speech Sound Disorder, sensory-based feeding difficulties, fluency, and early language development. Aarushi values working collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to develop strengths-based plans and intervention programmes. In her practice she uses a holistic approach which is evidence-based, child and family centered, and culturally affirming. Outside of work, Aarushi enjoys traveling, beach and nature walks, and spending time with family and friends.
