Lydia is a Speech-Language Pathologist who holds a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from St. Joseph’s University New York. She is certified to practice in both Australia and the United States. She has experience working in the clinic, school, community, and telehealth settings. More recently, Lydia works as a clinical supervisor, mentoring clinicians to best support their clients and develop their clinical skills. Lydia strives to make therapy suit the individual needs of each person she works with, while focusing on building trusting client relationships. She believes in neurodiversity affirming and client-centered approaches to therapy with a special interest in the autism spectrum, AAC, early childhood language, and speech sound disorders. She primarily works with a paediatric population and regularly engages in professional development to continue to improve her knowledge base. Outside of work, Lydia enjoys spending time at the beach, on a hiking trail, or experiencing a new restaurant.
